John Challinor "I notice that you have no Saturday fixture on 14th or 28th August. This may be deliberate but if you would like a friendly we are available on both those dates as our league closes down for August. Millfields should be available if you want to play on grass but, as you know, there is no clubhouse. Otherwise we would be happy to get to Wray Crescent as we did last year. I personally might prefer the 28th as I am away on the 14th but it doesn't really matter."

"Millfields is available but if I book it I have to pay for it up front now. This seems something of a risk. As our match is only pencilled in, I don't want to be out of pocket. your ground might be safer though I know some of your players prefer to play on grass."
