With so many Chatsers unavailable, the side were mostly Old Fallopians who in turn too failed to materialise, consequently the 3 Islingtonians initially availble became the core. Rather than going through the Conference then, John Sullivan offered to raise a full Under 16 side. Insuffuficient numbers were however attained & despite a willingness to mix the sides & a practice match to be played, the ultimate decision lay with the Captain who declined this following consultations with the Club Captain.
