Lost the match in the last over to a wide with three balls remaining.

Boisterous affair with the bat led to Rees, Webley and Hollman retiring on 25's helped by several lusty blows from Hess and Bevan. The 165 total looked sub par on a flat track with short downwind boundary.

As a consequence we were defensive in the field but were aided by a standout contribution from an intense Nuggs. Extra's and misfields helped JP gather momentum. It looked all over at the midway point until Hess dragged it back with an economical four overs but this good work was undone by a poor effort from Smiffy including the ignominy of bowling a wide to lose the game.
