Just like the real aussies they are, rare top order comparative failures from Grigg, Davies & Campbell did not undermine the 11 an over scoring rate they'd achieved but continued firmly on track by middle order meastros Cowling & Rademaker thereby rendering the need for Hardisty Bastin & Hollman.

Cowling & Rademaker re-united to replace opening bowlers Davies & Campbell who had held Chats in check at 8 an over. As the light continued to fade so did Chats prospects with Cowling & Rademaker refusing to hold back. 80 needed from the last 2 overs but the game had been long beyond Chats by the close of the 1st innings.
