The Star, 47 Chester Road, London N19 5DF

Club captain Ben Boorman writes...

Hello chaps,

I hope you are all well, and enjoying the off-season.

I'm pleased to announce the details for the end of season awards, which will be held on FRI FEBRUARY 7th 2014.

The venue will be The Star in Archway, who have provided us with a three-course dinner with options for just about everyone.

The pub is located a five-minute walk from Archway tube, which is also served by a number of 24hr buses both north and south.

Once again, this invitation is being thrown open to the WAGs. Those in attendance last year provided such great company.

It would be preferable to submit our orders before the night, so take a look at the menu (see below). All that is left for you to do is confirm your attendance, whether you will be bringing a guest, and your choice(s) from the menu. Of course, having an idea of who you might nominate for the following awards would also be useful, listed below along with last year's winners (for the 2012 season):

Kieran Mullens was voted Most Improved Player
Satish Thiagarajan was voted Best Newcomer
Toby Chasseaud was voted Fielder of The Season
Toby Chasseaud was also voted Player of The Season

It would be great to see as many of you as possible as last year was such a good laugh, so please get back to me as soon as possible if you can make it.

Here are the menu options:

• Citrus cured salmon, potted shrimp & crab, sourdough

• Jerusalem artichoke & chestnut soup

• Golden beetroot, glazed chavignon goats cheese and watercress

• Celeriac, potato and grilled vegetable roulade, cauliflower mousseline, sauce vierge

• Herb crusted cod, leek and bourbon broth and cockle popcorn

• Peppered Bannockburn rib eye steak, triple cooked chips, green peppercorn sauce (£1 supplement)

• Chocolate Tart, salted caramel ice cream

• Orange & Grand marnier crème brulée

• Selection of British Cheeses with oatcakes, wafers and chutney (£2 supplement)

£32 per person

There is a two course option available for £23.50
