Herts Break as Emmins Edges It

Rain was forecast in the eastern side of Herts for the annual Pacific CC golf tournament but in the end it was just a hot balmy day & the stifling smell came from the Canadian geese around the pond on the 18th. Steve E had played a solid round but finished disappointingly whereas the resurgent PH had picked up good points on the back 9 & ended the 18th with a par.

However as the two were in different groups it was in the Pub that this detail was ascertained. Indeed a match play match up shoes all square as was the 38 points they were tied upon.

Steve though could look to his score of 91 which was the lowest on the day & the true definition of a winner in Pacific eyes. Well done Steve. Looking forward to Verulam in 2016.
