Haroon leads successful chase
Pacific v London Fields at Victoria Park Pitch 1  Thu 23-Jun-2011 at 6.15pm
Won 6 wickets

Pacific gained a welcome top division victory.  We lost the toss and bowled tidily generally and fielded pretty well (Roy dropped one behind off Haroon).  James had his usual strop at the league rules discriminating against bowlers when called for a wide and a no ball in the same over.  Aroon and Rob were the pick of the bowlers.

The chase was executed superbly - Ritwick played the anchor role rotating the strike very well (although he may well need more than his one shot - the dab to point - on other occasions).  Haroon provided the power tonking the oppo leg spinner for 17 in one over and emphatically pulling the quick bowlers to speed to his 50.  Roy was bowled first ball. Debutant Hannant powered us over the finishing line with some agricultural strokeplay.  The oppo donated 35 wides (maybe those tough rules helped us!)
