On a wet cold winter's night seven Pacific cricketers gathered at the usual Rowans venue in Finsbury Park for the 10-pin bowling tournament, with three games spread over two lanes. Nuggsy tore out of the starting blocks to give himself a lead that usual favourites Steve Lay, Pete and Webbo could not overhaul. New club skipper Steve Richards ended with a tremendous run of strikes and spares to take 2nd place. Ben had no luck and constantly gathered 9s whilst Toby steadily improved with his curled lefties.
