We had our first net of the year today at Victoria Park. Despite the February chill we soon warmed up and were treated to some afternoon sunshine. It was nice to see the nets in such good shape and spectators were treated to a glorious straight drive from Nuggsy, easily the shot of the day, which he celebrated in the People's Park Tavern with a Coca-Cola and a packet of salt and vinegar crisps. We look forward to more weekend action heading into the new season. Drop Toby a line if you're interested
