This year's squash tournament went ahead with 4 combatants - Shayne Rees, Steve Emmins, Rob Bastin & Peter Hollman. Despite a disappointing turn out, the round robin matches were good fun & Rob turned out the worthy winner of 3rd place in a 2-1 winning thriller against Shayne. The final between the unbeaten favourite & holder Steve Emmins & Peter Hollman is scheduled for 22nd February 2005.

1st round:-

Steve beat Rob 9-3, Pete 9-4 & Shayne 9-0). Pete lost to Steve but beat Shayne 9-2 & Rob 9-4. In 3rd place was Rob who beat Shayne 9-3.

In the semis Steve despatched Shayne 9-0 9-2. But in the other game, Rob came back brilliantly but failed to complete an upset. Scores were 9-0 8-10 9-3.

The 3rd place thriller was won by Rob 9-5 8-10 10-8. Marvellous stuff.
