Lambourne Golf Club was the setting for the 2022 CCC Annual Golf Competition & Pacific having won it in 22, the cup was transported back inscribed with our name as winners. This year Captain Adrian Duthie was unable to arrange an earlier flight back  from Portugal & Stephen Richards stepped in ready to contribute. Despite some early rain to go along with the early tee time of 8:30am causing a 6am departure from Islington, we started poorLy with only Stephen R picking up points on our first hole (the 10th) with the other 3 of us all losing balls in the rough or the lake! That turned out to be as bad as it got & the points soon racked up.

Tne format based around handicaps is the 2 best scores from the 4 players each hole which are then added up so a round to handicap would equal 72 points but we achieved 98 points thanks mostly to Darryl who scored over 38% of our contribution.

For the record, the points tally contribution by individual was

Darryl Roberts 40.5, Stephen Richards 21.16, & 16.16 each from Steve Emmins & Peter Hollman. Even Chigwell went missing & didn't dispute the legitimacy of our eligibility this year. Congrats to the team & for keeping Pacific & Islington golf as well as cricket on the map!
